Tires

Hello All,

I have a 2009 Clubman S and I need new tires. Currently have the Dunlop "run flats" but have only gotten 29K miles out of them. Any suggestions?

Nancy, depending on how you drive, 29k is pretty good on those run flats. It's a lot more than I got on my first set. Check with Perry at Firestone on Central at 7th street. Many of us switched to non-runflats for the smoother ride and lower cost. You have to carry Fix a Flat or similar and understand someday might come when you have to call AAA if a tire gets shredded.

Aaaaaah, Nancy my friend! Loved meeting you when we parked next to each other at work. Thanks for the call with the update on the tire situation.....fortunately that is still 26,000 miles away for me to start thinking about. :-)

I barely got 20k on my runflats, saw Perry and he put on some non run flats and now I'm about 35k and need another set. What si with these cars and tires????

You probably just don't realize how fast you are going around corners...
